Open account
You can open your current account:
- By visiting any of our branches and providing your ID:

- Identification card (for citizens of Azerbaijan Republic)
- passport (for foreigners)
- Identification card for persons without citizenship
- Refugee ID Card
- military ticket
- military ID cards
You can also open a joint account together with another person. Other holder of the account will have the same extent of control over the account.

What you can do
- Deposit cash to your account (at any branch, a valid ID needed)
- Withdraw cash (at any branch, a valid ID needed)
- Transfer money locally or abroad
- Receive domestic or international transfers
- Make Regular Transfers to any customer of IBA
Closing a current account
“Between individual customers who have requested to open a current account, and the bank signs an agreement on opening and servicing bank accounts. This agreement comes into force on the date of its signature and is valid until the bank account is closed. Please note that the agreement can be terminated by the bank unilaterally if transactions are not conducted on the accounts of individual customers for at least 1 (one) year. Termination of the agreement is the basis for closing the account. ”
